Parents, if you want wonderful pictures of your children, never teach them to say "cheese"! Please learn from my mistake or you will have thousands of photos just like mine - squinted eyes, scrunched up noses, clenched teeth, and an image that just screams "say cheez!!!". Join me while I search for that one perfect shot that doesn't conjure up images of dairy products. Oh, and unless you like that *messy* look, you'll probably want to clean their faces before you snap away. I never seem to remember myself.

An imporant sidenote is to make sure you document your life! Recording the little details of the who, what, where, when, & why makes for wonderful stories and captures your life for years to come. Because if you are like me, you'll forget it all 5 minutes later!

Today was the last b-ball game of the season.

I do believe he enjoyed the popsicle as much as the trophy! M on the otherhand, well lets just say it was a long afternoon for her. :-)

Chaos Reigns

It's been raining a lot outside, and chaos has been reining a lot inside! I fear it is going to get worse as K is off to India again for a bit. The past 2 months have been action packed, and things don't seem to be slowing down anytime soon. J had his birthday, I've been organizing a very time consuming project/gift for his teachers, the kids have been busy with school, swim classes, baseball, gymnastics, N started physical therapy again for his muscular issues, N's birthday party is coming up, and M is the typical overly independent child trying to keep up with, and surpass, the older siblings. All this and we're headed to Hawaii soon for my sister's wedding. Life sure hasn't been dull! Hopefully we'll all be able to take a little breather by mid-July. Some sunshine soon would be nice so we can all get outside to play. I had about 10 minutes to myself yesterday and was able to get a few shots of the flowers around the house. My antidote to the chaos:
