Parents, if you want wonderful pictures of your children, never teach them to say "cheese"! Please learn from my mistake or you will have thousands of photos just like mine - squinted eyes, scrunched up noses, clenched teeth, and an image that just screams "say cheez!!!". Join me while I search for that one perfect shot that doesn't conjure up images of dairy products. Oh, and unless you like that *messy* look, you'll probably want to clean their faces before you snap away. I never seem to remember myself.

An imporant sidenote is to make sure you document your life! Recording the little details of the who, what, where, when, & why makes for wonderful stories and captures your life for years to come. Because if you are like me, you'll forget it all 5 minutes later!

Aloha

Here's a pic of the kids and myself as we explored West Maui. Saw some gorgeous scenery that at once would change from lush rainforest-like vegetation to dry, open landscape with cacti...quite amazing!



I took 1600 photos while we were in Maui, so I don't think I'll get to posting them all. :-)

Summer Daze

Phew, been a while since I posted here. Things have been crazy and I haven't quite gotten back into the groove of things. N had his b-day party at the beach in June then we left for Maui a few days later and were gone almost 2 weeks. Jet lag ensued for the next several days (well, that and post-vacation depression). Now just getting back to the real world and will post some pics soon. Just as soon as I get out of this daze I'm in. In the meantime, here is some comic relief...J hamming it up for the camera.
