It seems like I've spent some much time indoors lately! It has been beyond frigid and with all the ice and snow we've had, I'm not keen on taking A & M out much. Miss M has been getting very bouncy lately (her nursery school teacher commented to me today "She sure has a lot of energy, doesn't she! I hope she naps for you") but fortunately responds well to art projects (as she does NOT nap!). Today I pulled out her watercolors so that she could get a start on her valentines for her nursery school party next week. Thankfully, this occupied her for nearly 2 hours and I was able to get a few things done during this time so we can have a cleaner home sweet home! :-)
Parents, if you want wonderful pictures of your children, never teach them to say "cheese"! Please learn from my mistake or you will have thousands of photos just like mine - squinted eyes, scrunched up noses, clenched teeth, and an image that just screams "say cheez!!!". Join me while I search for that one perfect shot that doesn't conjure up images of dairy products. Oh, and unless you like that *messy* look, you'll probably want to clean their faces before you snap away. I never seem to remember myself.
An imporant sidenote is to make sure you document your life! Recording the little details of the who, what, where, when, & why makes for wonderful stories and captures your life for years to come. Because if you are like me, you'll forget it all 5 minutes later!

My Little Baby
It's been a little while since I've taken some photos of little A. Life gets busy and it is easy to lose track of time and let the moments slip away. I had a bit of time this weekend and snapped of few of him. I'm constantly amazed at how fast he is growing and I am only too aware that soon he'll no longer be my little baby!
